Holy Trinity Church
is a group of ordinary, welcoming people of all ages from a variety
of backgrounds who find the Christian faith relevant for life in
the 21st Century.
We recognise that we all face challenges in our lives which are
sometimes difficult to overcome. Whilst we do not have all the answers,
we believe that we can receive strength from God to resolve these
and that this leads to a sense of joy and fulfilment which God wishes
for everyone.
Now for the technical bit! We form a United Anglican and Methodist
congregation and operate as a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP).
The church serves the villages of Thorpe Hesleyand Scholes near Rotherham, Yorkshire.
This site provides information about the church and the
villages. We hope you find it useful and interesting. If
you would like any more information, we'd love to see you at one
of our services or alternatively,
contact us in any of the ways described on the contacts
page.
Our Vicar and Methodist Minister is the Revd Jan Hardy -
"I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the whole community
in Thorpe Hesley and Scholes. I believe strongly in bringing the
community and church together. As well as being a disciple for Christ,
I'm also a keen football supporter and of Sheffield Wednesday in
particular!".

We
support the Fairtrade
Foundation and also Shiloh
(Rotherham), a drop in centre acting as a sanctuary for the marginalised
of society.
