Community life at Holy Trinity is based around the various gatherings of church. However, If for any reason you, or someone you, know is unable to attend church and would like to receive Communion in your home, please contact Jan on 0114 246 3487. Tapes are also available of the sunday gatherings.
SUNDAY CELEBRATION & BOOMERANG
a large sunday gathering at 10 am - Boomerang is aimed at children aged 3-15 and takes place during part of the service. We have an all age service usually on the second Sunday of the month - an opportunity for us to worship and learn together.

SUNDAY EVENING WORKSHIP
a more intimate sunday gatherings at 6.00 pm with holy communion usually on the sunday of each month

TUESDAY CHURCH
an informal church gathering at 10 am with holy communion.

HOME GROUPS

meet at various places and times for informal discussion, prayer, praise and mutual support:

  • 9.30 am Thurs - 172 Brook Hill
  • 1.30 pm Tues (monthly - 1st tuesday) - 84 Raven Drive
  • 7.30 pm 2nd & 4th Tues - 158 Scholes Village

MENS BREAKFAST
each month, men can meet, share breakfast, have a good chat and listen to a visiting speaker. They start at 8am and most are held at 158 Scholes Village. For further details, contact Steve Wilson in church.

UNDER 5'S
every Thursday afternoon at 1.45 - 3.15pm in church during term time we have a group called Appleseed. It is an opportunity for parents and their children under 5 to worship and learn together and for parents to chat while their children play.

VISION - YOUTH GROUP
fun youth group for 11 - 18 yr olds called Vision that meets about once a fortnight during term time. Press here for more information

Christian Basics Courses
courses are held from time to time during the year for anyone wanting to know more about the Christian faith. If you would like to know more, have a word with Jan.

Painting for Pleasure
meets each Thursday from 9:30 till 12:00 during school term time.

Walking for Life
the next walk will be on 24th February 2010, then fortnightly on Wednesdays. Walks are no more than 5 miles long; We meet at church at 9.30am and are back for 1pm. Please contact Tom or Rita on 0114 246 3437.

Church Choir
choir practises are on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm. If you are interested in knowing more about either, please see Pat on 0114 246 5912 / 0114 220 8899

ChAT
a group of church members who visit the elderly, lonely or housebound in the community. If you know of anyone who would appreciate a visit from one of the team, please see Joan Portman.

Gold and Silver Young at Heart
a lively group of people aged 50 and over who meet together in church on the third Tuesday of each month from 1.30 - 3.30pm. If you would like to know more, please see Brenda Allott in church.
