Music Theory
If you would like an opportunity to learn how to read music and know some basic music theory, Susan Donnelley is willing to run a short course. This would be useful for people who sing in choirs and for those who would like to join the handbell group which will start up shortly. For those who have been to the hand bell classes their experience is that it would be so much easier for them if they could read music.
Susan will arrange a time to meet when she knows who is interested in joining the group.

One of our Church members, Tom Doncaster, has written the book Images of the Past- Thorpe Hesley covering many aspects of the history of Thorpe Hesley. Copies are on sale in Church, at the Village Shop on Brook Hill in Thorpe Hesley, Village Post Office on Upper Wortley Road, and Wentworth Post Office. In case of difficulty contact the author at tomdoncaster@totalise.co.uk or ring 01142463437.
