Introduction
The Church Walking Group is continuing its walks programme on a fortnightly basis on Wednesday mornings.
We meet at the Church at 9.30am and are back by 1.30 p.m. The walking is at a leisurely pace and usually only about five miles long or less.
They are led by experienced people. Often we walk from the Church, but occasionally we may use cars to get to places such as Wentworth, Elsecar or Stainborough to start a walk there. Alternatively we have caught the local bus to Rotherham or Meadowhall and walked various countryside routes back. Do join us if you can – our walks are open to anyone who is fit enough.
Dates for the next few weeks are May 24th, June 7th and 21st, July 5th and 19th and August 2nd, 16th and 30th.
