Village Garden Project

Villagers will be opening their gadens to the public in aid of completing the car park and landscaping. If you could open your garden, please contact Fiona Wilson via church.

We return for our regular summer service in Scholes. Starts at 10.30 at the Cricket Pavillion. Its always a great event, with cricket and a picnic afterwards. Everyone welcome, please do come along.

Sunday Services

We have two services each Sunday as shown below.

10am

Communion and Boomerang

Boomerang is aimed at children aged 3-15 and takes place during part of the service. We have an all age service on the last Sunday of the month - an opportunity for us to worship and learn together.

6pm

Evening Worship

An evening communion service is held on the last Sunday of the month.

Tapes of Sunday services are available. Just let Jan know if you would like one.

Tuesday Church

Tuesday Church with Holy Communion is held at 10am every Tuesday. The church is open between 9am and noon every Tuesday and Thursday.

Holy Communion at Home

If for any reason, you or someone you know is unable to attend church and would like to receive Communion in your home, please contact Jan.

Midweek Activities

Home groups 

Meet at various places and times for informal discussion, prayer, praise and mutual support. Full details are given in the weekly notice sheet.

Christian Basics Courses

Courses are held from time to time during the year for anyone wanting to know more about the Christian faith. If you would like to know more, have a word with Jan.

Vision Youth Group

Fun youth group that meets about once a fortnight during term time. Press here for more information.

Drum Circle

Holy Trinity African Drumming and Percussion Circle meets every two weeks at Holy Trinity Church and everyone is welcome to come and join in. Press here for more information.

Appleseed

Meets on Thursday afternoons during term time. It is an opportunity for parents and their children under 5 to worship and learn together and for parents to chat while their children play. Details can be found on the weekly notice sheet.

Painting for Pleasure

Meets each Thursday from 9:30 till 11:00 during school term time.

Men's breakfast

Each month, men can meet, share breakfast, have a good chat and listen to a visiting speaker. They start at 8am and most are held at 158 Scholes Village. For further details, contact Steve Wilson in church.

Walking for Life

Church Choir and Music Group

Practise on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm. If you are interested in knowing more about either, please see David Hester or Ken Peet.

ChAT

Is a group of church members who visit the elderly, lonely or housebound in the community. If you know of anyone who would appreciate a visit from one of the team, please see Joan Portman.

Gold and Silver Young at Heart

Is a lively group of people aged 60 and over who meet together in church on the third Tuesday of each month from 1.30pm-3.30pm. If you would like to know more, please see Brenda Allot in church.
